Getting Export-Mailbox Cmdlet to work
After installing Exchange 2007 SP1 Management Tools on Windows 2003 SP2 x86 and Outlook 2007 with SP1, the export-mailbox cmdlet was returning this error:

Running FixMapi.exe from the command prompt easily fixes the problem.

After looking all over and getting told this was a premission problem by everyone, well this fixed my issue in 2 seconds!!!!
I've got permissions over the mailbox and my account is a full exchange admin. What other permissions are you referring to?!

Ohmygooood ! thanks. This f*****g exchange makes me feel that IT is a hell ! but people like you that put real solutions makes me like ... getting a new deep deep breath... and start over again.
Thank you so very much for this. I have been banging my head against this problem for the better part of 3 months. I've been working around it with Exmerge and using Outlook.
Great!!!! This works, after a day of setting and changing permissions this was the only thing that works.
